Editing Pane Let’s look at the features of the Editing pane. To get a full screen view, we can close the Original pane for the moment by clicking the Original button. We’re looking at the Preview tabbed page. To look at the HTML code, you click Source. The Path display allows you to select an individual HTML element such as a paragraph or heading precisely and rapidly for editing. The Editing toolbar includes familiar tools such as Undo or Redo, Cut, Copy and Paste, with corresponding keyboard shortcuts. You can emphasise selected text with the B and I buttons, but the emphasis is done with the accessible and tags, not with the deprecated and tags. The Text Format drop-down list allows you to apply HTML structural formats to individual HTML elements or to selected text. The Tag Selected Text drop-down list provides a range of other formats that can be applied to any selected portion of a page. There are also buttons for inserting or editing tables, images, hyperlinks, or anchors. You can add and remove unordered or ordered list style… and nest and un-nest selected text.
